A small group of IB students (Manolis, Maro, Pantelis, Giannis, Nick and Christos) visited the "Hamogelo tou Paidiou" House at Melissia, where children in need find shelter and a permanent family setting. We brought snacks and toys and had a really good time. We played card games and board games and even enjoyed playing football in the premises. We really had a great time, it did not feel like just another must-do charity event. I believe such spontaneous initiatives are very rewarding and we will be organising them more frequently.
